"When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’"
(Matthew 25:38-40)

New Brothers Fellowship is a ministry to, by, and for the Body of Christ.
Here are a few ways to fulfill the "by the Body of Christ" aspect of this ministry.

PRAYER
The greatest need of this ministry is prayer. Contact us for specific needs, or just pray as the Spirit of God leads you.

DISCIPLESHIP GROUPS
Our second greatest need is for men from area churches to to make a commitment to participate in their local NBF Discipleship Group.

CHEATERS
In order to read the fine print in their Bibles, men need reading glasses. They must have plastic frames.

BIBLES
Men need study Bibles. Men need large print Bibles.

GREETING CARDS
Cards for all occasions are needed, but in particular we need Mother's Day Cards, cards to children, Thinking of You cards, and Sorry cards. We will also need many, many Christmas cards this year.

TRACTS
We need "Smile, Jesus Loves You" tracts. It is impossible to have too many on hand. To help meet this need, here is the link to Amazing Grace Mission, an organization that sells them at a very good price, with free shipping: SMILE TRACTS

SPREAD THE WORD
Tell others about NBF. Share this ministry with your church, home group, prayer group, and Bible study. Forward this email to like-minded friends and family members. Share our Facebook page. The need for NBF increases daily, which means the need for the Body of Christ to get involved increases daily, as well.

LEADERS
We need leaders to rise-up in churches across this county, state, region, and country who are willing to lead NBF Groups for the men being released from prison into their community. If NBF works for men in Essex County, we know it will work for men every where.

DONATE
For seven-and-a-half years NBF has been sustained by free will gifts received from churches and individual members of the Body of Christ. If you feel lead, support this work financially with a one-time gift, or monthly pledge.

IN CLOSING
Thank you for taking the time to read this list of needs, and for considering how you might become more involved in prison and prison aftercare ministry. God is stirring the hearts of men in prison. They are eager to hear the gospel. The Body of Christ must respond.

In Him alone,
Doug & Caroline Gregan

Proclaiming What Jesus Has Done!

"Jesus...said to him, 'Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you.' And he departed and began to proclaim in Decapolis all that Jesus had done for him; and all marveled." (Mark 5:19-20)

Proclaiming What Jesus Has Done!
Tim Coco is a New Brother and an exceptional example of how to use Facebook well. He uses his status to regularly broadcast his faith in Christ and preach the Gospel. When we saw this recent post, we asked his permission to share it with you.

"I just wanna say that I am not ashamed to proclaim that three years ago, and before then, I used to live a life of rebellion. I was a party animal, a drug dealer, a drug user. I was just a crazy man on a crazy path, and I just didn't care much about life and what was going on around me. I couldn't have cared less if I lived or died. I didn't know what life was all about, and didn't know what my purpose was. The only thing I cared about was how tough could I be, and what people thought of me.

"Then, three years ago, that all changed, because I was sent to jail, and what a blessing that was. I got to know this man named Jesus, who died on the Cross for my sins. I didn't understand much, but I just kept pressing into the Word of God and He just showed me and taught me, with the help of others, what this all meant. I will tell you that I could not do this in my own power, but only by the power of God. Whether you believe me or not, that's up to you. But, for those who used to know me, you should certainly pay attention, because you know how I used to be...very stubborn and in my own way.

"God can do miracles in your life, if you just surrender to Him. I'm not afraid of judgment from others, because there is gonna be a time when I will face judgment from God, and He will look at my life. I'm either gonna spend Eternity with Him, or I'm gonna spend Eternity with Satan. So, I tell you to be serious with life now, because your last breath on earth will be your first step into Eternity. Please, make the right choice and ask Jesus into your life and let Him do the work."

Doug and Tim first met at Middleton, and then began meeting weekly during his time at The Farm. After his release, Tim attended the NBF Discipleship Groups in Amesbury and Haverhill. Within a few months he had visited Granite United Church in Salem, NH (Pastor Anthony Milas), and immediately found a church home. He now attends services at their Haverhill campus, and was recently invited to launch a small group for young adults.

When we asked to use this testimony, Tim told Caroline, "If it wasn't for God putting Doug in my life, I wouldn't be who I am today!" If that is true, than we can only thank God for those who have helped make this ministry possible. Tim is a fruit of the faithful support you have offered through your gifts, prayers, and service. Thank you for making NBF available to others whose testimonies are still a work in progress.
