"Observe and consider the ravens; for they neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn; and [yet] God feeds them. Of how much more worth are you than the birds!" Luke 12:24 (Amp)

NBF News
---------------

New Brothers Fellowship exists to carry the Gospel of Jesus Christ into prison, and to serve men upon their release who’ve come to faith in Christ during their incarceration. We are here by God's grace, as He uses HIS BODY to support HIS work in the prison and prison aftercare mission field in New England. Thank you very much for joining us in this effort for the glory of our dear Savior.

  • Will You Pray? We are asking God for 100 intercessors. So far, we have received three responses. If you are one in a hundred, please send us a message with "YES!" in the subject line. With all God is doing, we need committed intercessors more than anything else! Only 97 to go!
  • Heard & Seen: Following Tuesday's Discipleship Group, a New Brother updated his Status on Facebook. He wrote: "It's amazing what God can do in your life, if you let HIM! Tonight was a great service!" Praise God! The Lord is growing His Body one man at a time.
  • Don't Stop Believing! We are excited to share this praise report, because it is just one more example of God's faithfulness and love. A fellow minister and his wife recognized a need in this ministry and have offered to meet it: The NBF cell phone expense. No longer will people call and hear, "This number is not available." Praise the Lord with us for this blessing from God. And, pray the Lord bless this couple, along with the other dear saints who support this work financially. We are doing God's work together!
  • NBF/Salem DG: We rejoice that the Salem Discipleship Group was launched this week! Months of prayer have gone into this new group, and we are excited! Praise God for a trusted fellow minister and dedicated prison volunteer, Rev. Rob Parady of Wesley United Methodist Church of Salem, who felt burdened by the Lord to become a part of NBF and bring a group to his church. Praise God his church board responded with great enthusiasm, declaring this was just the kind of outreach for which they had been praying. PRAISE THE LORD! Please, keep Rob and this group in prayer. If you are a New Brother in the area, we encourage you to visit and show your support. They meet Wednesdays at 7pm. Details may be found HERE! Thank you, Rob, for taking this step of faith!
  • 20-10 Campaign: You might not think $20, or even $10, a month is worth giving, but you would be very mistaken! Caroline can never forget the Sunday we went to church knowing we did not have enough money to get home. We went in faith, believing that somehow God would make those fumes last. At the end of the service, a dear brother shook her hand and slipped a $5 bill into it. "I'm sorry; that is all I have," he whispered. Sorry? We rejoiced for the $5, and God was glorified! In His hands, every penny counts. LEARN MORE
  • Facebook Friends: Find us on Facebook. We want to be your Friend! We'll be posting more photos soon, and possibly some videos.
You know, these have been very interesting days for us! We have been experiencing the raven's life. Each day, we wake-up and wonder how God is going to get us through. Each night, we find that somehow, from unexpected sources, the Lord has provided just what we needed. He has truly been working so sweetly in our lives.

The truth is, God is using this time to teach us to trust Him more. He's been calling us into a deeper walk of faith. Believing God for milk money is merely a rehearsal for believing Him for what really matters: transformed lives.

God is good, dear friends. We do not have all the answers we are praying for---we have some big requests before the throne---but we know an answer is coming! And, we know it's going to be good. In the meanwhile, we wait in His presence.

In Christ Alone,
Doug & Caroline Gregan
