Day after day, service after service, I'm watching God unveil the fulfillment of our prayers. In this unveiling, I am getting an understanding of how the Kingdom of God advances. It is a slow, steady force, that moves ahead in response to my standing in faith to the promise. Opposition comes in so many varieties that I believe most of us miss them. It requires being in a constant state of the Spirit. We must discern and respond by the Word.

Frankly, this is one of the most wonderful times of growth for us. We are truly, actively engaged with God in advancing His Kingdom in the lives of New Brothers. It is incredibly exciting. This is just the beginning, but we see and understand that. There are many more fierce battles to come, but that's alright. This is what we've asked for and the God of heaven is responding to our requests. He has gone before us and victory is sure!

The Lord recently drew my attention to the fact that after turning the one year anniversary of our Chaplaincy in May, we are now seeing the full fruit of this change in authority. The men involved in the ministry are just now revealing the result of being under a new authority, a new spirit, and a fresh Word. God has been answering our prayers from that first day when He opened the door for us in Middleton. All of the sickness, hospitals, broken bones, and fincancial trials have been a part of God bringing us through battle after battle. It's an incredible testimony and a humbling revelation.

You, as our brothers and sisters, as members of this One Body, have the opportunity to join us in this glorious testimony. You can stand in prayer and intercession for these precious New Brothers that God has saved and delivered by His great salvation. May the Lord give you His heart for this necessary work. We need you.

Thank you for your faithful stance. You are responding and you are a partaker of the testimony. Only in heaven will we fully see the mysterious connection that is Christ's Body. May He bless you abundantly by His Spirit.

I've been here before, at a place of dramatic, life-changing decision. If I were to be perfectly honest, it's someplace that I dread. I was not cut out for drastic tests of faith, and yet I realize the incredible privilege and value of being in this place. God is realized here.

Caroline recently made a statement that I grudgingly resisted at the time. I paraphrase, "We don't stop doing what God has called us to do until He tell us to stop." The truth is, this is exactly how it is. What God says goes, no questions.

The battles that took place as Joshua fought to enter the promised land were bloody, brutal, drawn out, and filled with failure. Yet, every time they remained faithful to the Word of God, they saw amazing victories. Their enemies were destroyed and they possessed that which God had promised. When you read through the account, you see that unbelief and disobedience were the only reasons for defeat.

It is a season of diligence!

I am more convinced than ever that this is a season of intense spiritual warfare. It's coming from every direction, touching all facets of the ministry, including New Brothers and our Volunteers.

Yet, the Holy Spirit is touching men's lives in a wonderful way. Men who have been on the spiritual sidelines for years, are making a real commitment to walk with the Lord.

There is a nag in my heart, a spiritual undercurrent that I can't get away from. It's calling me to pray and seek God, to cry out for Him to fulfill what I've been seeing and hearing for the past few months. I thank God that it's there, but it is also an strange sort of burden. I really can't explain it completely.
