Now is the time in ministry when you see the difference between those who fade away and those who endure. Today is a day for endurance. Challenge after challenge arise and they begin to weigh on you. The desire to give in and give up are frequently on your mind as the pressures of battle seem to increase. I know that this is dramatic speech, but it truly is the difference between those who stand and those who fall. There are many ministries that begin with great zeal, but cannot endure the hardship of resistance that the devil brings against God's people.

Failure is not an acceptable word in the Church. When ministry fails, we simply look the other way and whisper to one another. It's a sad state of affairs. The Church should be ashamed.

The fact that New Brothers Fellowship is still here after five years is a testimony to two fundamental things.

  1. The fact that the vision is of the Lord not of men.
  2. The fact that God is merciful, gracious, and faithful to keep His vision until it is completed.

We are very blessed to still be standing after five years and completely trust the Lord to take this work to it's fulfillment, i.e. New Brothers Fellowship being a part of churches all across the country, supporting men coming out of prison everywhere.

Today, I would like to ask you to pray toward that end. Please pray for the Lord to bring this work to it's fulness. Men in prison coming to Christ, becoming true disciples, and being released and received by the body of Christ. It is imperative that this happen. We are accountable for the lives of our Brothers.

Thank you for your faithful prayer and support. We are so very blessed to serve the Lord in this work. It belongs to Him.
