Heading into the New Year, I find myself in an interesting place of mystery. There are so many unknowns, so many questions. And yet, conversely, the Lord is doing some very specific things in me. A deeper work of His Spirit... a retraining and refining work. It has been very difficult, but, as He spoke yesterday to the men at Bridgewater Mass Treatment Center, it all has to do with where He's taking us. This is good news, exciting news as we head into 2010.
It is definitely a time for new begininngs in NBF. We're seeing wonderful growth and maturity in the men of both facilities. The Discipleship Groups are all ready, from my perspective, to blossom. If I could put my finger directly on any one thing that needs God to bless and grow, it's in the area of Volunteers within NBF, specifically the aftercare ministry.
So...that is my request from you, dear reader, whoever you are, please pray for men from our local churches to get involved with the D.G.'s.
